Administrative Assistant
Scope

The Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant in its Emeryville, CA office. BPI is the credentialing arm of the nation’s home performance contracting industry.  The scope of this position includes:

  • Overseeing day-to-day interactions and communications
  • Manage office operations
  • Coordinate all conference logistics for the Western Region

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and consistent communications with Western Region Director, BPI Management, staff, and customers
  • Manage office operations, including vendor relations,  purchasing, and mail
  • Research and prepare statistics and other data utilizing the internet, and internal databases (CRM and SharePoint)
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences BPI attends in the Western Region, including exhibitor registration, hotel reservations, and shipping of exhibitor materials
  • Manage Director’s travel requirements and other administrative tasks

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree required preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.  BPI recognizes Institutions of Higher Education, which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant or comparable, preferably in the area of Energy Efficiency. Conference logistics experience also desirable.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
